Daily Reflection
I do not entirely trust the activity tracking on my watch. When I use the easy strider for 45 minutes, it logs 4,000+ steps. But today, I deep cleaned the carpets in the living room and master bedroom—a 4-hour functional movement marathon of vacuuming, lifting, pouring, and walking back and forth—yet my watch only tracked 2,000 steps! I just don’t get it.
I felt like I worked out for four hours straight but had nothing to show for it tracking-wise. Maybe I should have selected indoor workout mode? It’s just so discouraging.
On a good note, I was tired but not completely exhausted at the end of the day. In the past, we would only clean one room at a time because I didn’t have the energy or stamina to do more. This time, I kept going until both were done.
Progress, even if the watch doesn’t track it.
