As we welcome 2025, I’m excited to share an announcement that combines the power of Artificial Intelligence with a deeply personal milestone: my first book, From Data to Decisions: AI Insights for Business Leaders, will be available this January.

This book is a compilation of the 60+ articles I published throughout 2024 on LinkedIn. But it is much more than just a collection. It represents how AI not only inspired the content but also played a pivotal role in shaping its final form.

The Origin Story

Over the past year, I published articles on LinkedIn just about every Tuesday and Friday, starting in March. These articles explored the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, business leadership, and innovation. All of them were born somewhat organically — responses to professional questions, reflections on current events, or insights gained from my doctoral studies and dissertation research. There was no formal structure or plan to these posts; they were snapshots of ideas shared in real time, often inspired by my daily work and the evolving AI landscape.

By the end of the year, I found myself with a random collection of content but no cohesive way to share it as a resource for others. That’s when I turned to AI. I don’t just write about it; I use it every day.

How AI Played Its Part

I began by copying and pasting every article I had written into a single document, complete with an automated table of contents. This provided a simple list of article titles that I could save into a PDF and upload to ChatGPT. The software analyzed the titles and focus of the content, identifying common threads, and proposed a new framework that gave the book a clear and logical flow. It broke the articles into parts and assigned chapters to each part. Once I had everything restructured, ChatGPT was able to review the contents in an “editor” role and make recommendations on moving some of the articles around based on the actual content.

Here’s what AI helped achieve:

  • Identified Themes: AI recognized recurring topics, such as ethical considerations in AI, leadership strategies, and practical applications, and grouped them accordingly.
  • Organized Content: It suggested a structure that transformed a year’s worth of unstructured posts into a cohesive, six-part guide.
  • Refined Presentation: AI provided recommendations to improve the final presentation, even making recommendations on which articles to exclude because they simply did not fit – like my Thanksgiving post about why I was thankful for technology.

A Book Designed for Leaders

The result is a single source of reference that captures the essence of the articles published over the past year. From foundational concepts to advanced applications, From Data to Decisions is designed for leaders, innovators, and anyone interested in harnessing AI for business success.

Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Clarity: Complex AI concepts are broken down into actionable insights.
  2. Relevance: The content remains rooted in real-world challenges and opportunities leaders face today.
  3. Practicality: Strategies you can apply immediately, whether you’re a seasoned executive or exploring AI for the first time.

Coming Soon

This book is a testament to the transformative power of AI — not just as a subject of study but as a tool to organize, enhance, and create. It’s also a reminder that AI works best when paired with human creativity, insights, and experience.

I’m incredibly grateful for the conversations, questions, and feedback that inspired the original articles and shaped this book. Together, we’re navigating the future of AI and leadership.

Stay tuned for more updates, sneak peeks, and reflections as the launch approaches. I can’t wait to share this labor of love with you all sometime in January!
